From August 14, 2020, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine will start centralized registration of Ukrainian electronic visas (e-Visa) for citizens of India, South Africa and the Philippines.
Ukrainian e-Visa is issued for trips to our country for business, private, tourist purposes, for treatment, activities in the field of culture, science, education, sports, as well as representatives of foreign media.
To apply for an e-Visa you need:
- Register on the web platform of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs https://evisa.mfa.gov.ua/ (access is opened from August 14);
- Fill in the application form online, download a photo and scanned copies of documents (passport, invitation, etc.), pay the consular fee with a bank card;
- Receive a ready-made e-Visa by e-mail (sent in pdf format).
To enter Ukraine, you need to print out the received e-Visa and show it with the passport to the border authorities of Ukraine at checkpoints across the state border.
Advantages of e-Visa:
- remote submission of documents at any convenient time
- obtaining an e-Visa without visiting a consular office
- ability to monitor online status of e-Visa
- centralized registration of all e-Visas at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine
At the same time, the standard procedure for issuing Ukrainian visas in foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine also remains in force for the citizens of these states.
